DESTINATION DRAFT FINAL 2019 NFL MOCK DRAFT
*Assumes no trades
**Assumes AZ takes Kyler Murray (reports out now say they won’t, but I think it is all fluff)
1.1 Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray QB Oklahoma
The Cardinals have such a high grade on Murray that I can't image them going another direction. If they do go with a Nick Bosa or Josh Allen, that shakes up the entire first round
1.2 San Francisco 49ers: Nick Bosa EDGE Ohio State
The Niners need a defensive end to paid opposite of Dee Ford. Rumors say they prefer Bosa over Josh Allen but could realisticlally see either one here.
1.3 New York Jets: Quinnen Williams DL Alabama
The Jets are likely to trade back in this position but assuming no trade happens, the Jets are going to take the 'safe pick' by taking the best player available. In this case, is Q. Williams.
1.4 Oakland Raiders: Josh Allen EDGE Kentucky
Another potential trade spot here but after losing an edge rusher like K. Mack to the Bears, you have to think that might be the first position the Raiders are going to 'replace'. Wouldn't be surprised by an Ed Oliver pick here either.
1.5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Devin White LB LSU
A guy who is on everyone's top 10 player board. Devin White is a tackle machine at inside linebacker. He will be the anchor of that Buc defense for a long time.
1.6 New York Giants: Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio State
Do they Giants take a QB here or risk it and wait for their middle first round pick? Unless somehow Josh Allen ends up available here, I think Haskins is the pick. Too early to take Lock or D. Jones here at the 6 spot.
1.7 Jacksonville Jaguars: Montez Sweat EDGE Miss St.
Jags love that defense. This guy has too much upside to pass on given his athleticism and play making ability.
1.8 Detroit Lions: Ed Oliver DL Houston
The Lions could entertain the idea of an OT here but if Ed Oliver is around at 8, there's no way I see the Lions passing on him.
1.9 Buffalo Bills: Greedy Williams CB LSU
The Bills have two major needs for this draft. Bolster the defense and protect Josh Allen. The draft is stacked with offensive lineman and I think they use their second rounder to address the O Line. Greedy will be an immediate starter.
1.10 Denver Broncos: Jonah Williams OT Alabama
Hard to believe Jonah Williams lasts until the 10 spot but in this scenario he does. Denver wished they could get their hands on Devin White but he's gone. The QB situation is a little crazy in Denver but whoever might be the future there, they will already have their franchise left tackle.
1.11 Cincinnati Bengals: Clelin Ferrell EDGE Clemson
Cincy needs help in basically every position but RB. If this wasn't such a loaded DL class, Ferrell would be long gone by 11. Cincy gets some pass rush help with the Clemson standout.
1.12 Green Bay Packers: Christian Wilkins DL Clemson
Clemson defensive lineman go back to back. Mike Daniels is likely to leave GB next season and Muhammed Wilkerson is gone. Christian Wilkins is borderline a perfect fit at 12 for the Packers.
1.13 Miami Dolphins: Jawaan Taylor OT Florida
Miami needs a little bit of everything. I think they go with the safe bet and take in-state star Jawaan Taylor. Tunsil and Taylor make for a great young one-two punch on an offensive line.
1.14 Atlanta Falcons: Noah Fant TE Iowa
Simple. More weapons for Matty Ice = more points. Outscore your opponent is the name of the game.
1.15 Washington Redskins: DeAndre Baker CB Georgia
Washington could very well go QB here. Lord knows they probably should but with their drafting history, they probably wont. DeAndre Baker is MY personal favorite corner in the draft so I think there is great value with Baker at 15.
1.16 Carolina Panthers: Rashan Gary EDGE Michigan
Carolina has not drafted a defensive end since Julius Peppers. I think this is likely a coin flip between Gary and Brian Burns.
1.17 New York Giants: AJ Brown WR Ole Miss
Doesn't really need an explanation. They have Sheppard & Golden Tate at WR and beyond that, nothing. That offense is going to be very young and talented after this draft.
1.18 Minnesota Vikings: Andre Dillard OT Washington State
Basically the worst offensive line the past two seasons, if you are Minnesota, you have NO other option that to take best available OL at 18.
1.19 Tennessee Titans: Devin Bush LB Michigan
With most elite pass rushers taken by 19, Tennessee is still going to go after defense. Devin Bush should be taken earlier so if he is around for the Titans, they would be very happy with the selection.
1.20 Pittsburgh Steelers: Byron Murphy CB Washington
99.9% of mock drafts online have this pick. The offense should be fine without Leveon and Antonio. Seeing Baker and Lamar twice a year would cause any team to get some help on the defensive side of the ball.
1.21 Seattle Seahawks: Brian Burns EDGE FSU
After trading Frank Clark to the Chiefs yesterday, the Seahawks now have two first rounders. Burns would be a nice replacement for Clark.
1.22 Baltimore Ravens: Garrett Bradbury C NC State
With Lamar Jackson taking over, this team is RUN RUN RUN. Bradbury is arguably the best OL in this draft. They could also use a big WR, so expect DK Metcalf to be considered here as well.
1.23 Houston Texans: Cody Ford OL Oklahoma
Disaster of an offensive line in Houston last year and I expect Houston to take OL with their first two picks in this draft. At least first 2/3.
1.24 Oakland Raiders: TJ Hockenson TE Iowa
With Jared Cook gone, there is a hole at the TE position for OAK. Cook had a pretty stellar year so, TJ Hock could find himself in a good position here.
1.25 Philadelphia Eagles: Jonathan Abram S Miss St
With additions of D Jax and Jordan Howard, I think they shift the needs over to the defensive side of the ball. Jonathan Abram would be an immediate starters for Philly.
1.26 Indianapolis Colts: Jerry Tillery DL Notre Dame
Another coin flip scenario here. I think this could be Tillery or Dexter Lawrence. Regardless, either pick will help the D Line tremendously.
1.27 Oakland Raiders: Josh Jacobs RB Alabama
With Marshawn Lynch retiring (again), Oakland is looking for another RB. I think he will be available for their second round pick but he checks all the boxes and is by far the best RB in the class.
1.28 Los Angeles Chargers: Chris Lindstrom G Boston College
Chargers need help on both sides of the line. If they chose to go defense, look for a Dexter Lawrence or Jerry Tillery pick but Lindstrom had a GREAT combine and has played tackle and guard during his college career. Very athletic and versatile.
1.29 Seattle Seahawks: N'Keal Harry WR Arizona State
Doug Baldwin has had three surgeries this offseason and the team is definitely worried about his health going forward. N'Keal is a great WR to be on the outside with Lockett staying in the slot.
1.30 Green Bay Packers: Greg Little OT Ole Miss
Green Bays long time tackle, Byran Bulaga is gettin up there in the dept and has had some recent injuries. Greg Little has great upside and would help fine-tune Aaron Rodgers offensive line & potentially replace Bulaga when ready to.
1.31 Los Angeles Rams: Dexter Lawrence DT Clemson
This would be a GOD SEND if Dexter Lawrence is available this late in the first round. Suh is gone and now they are looking for a replacement to play next to Aaron Donald.
1.32 New England Patriots: Daniel Jones QB Duke
Word around town is that Coach B REALLY likes Daniel Jones. Although, I wouldn't be shocked to see NE trade back or grab a WR here (maybe Hakeem Butler), I think Daniel Jones becomes the next Patriots QB after the Brady era.
